The latest issue of the quarterly report “Economic activity indicator in Bulgaria”, 1/2021 was released

Over the fourth quarter of 2020 the Economic activity indicator in Bulgaria (EAI) remained negative but turned upwards, mainly benefitting from improvement in its cyclical component. The main positive influence on EAI cyclical position resulted from the less pessimistic sentiment indicators’ assessments. The preliminary estimate for the overall EAI indicator for Q1’21 also improves.
