EU Budget 2020

The 2020 Budget of the EU was adopted at the end of November 2019 after the agreement of the two budgetary authorities – the Council of the EU and the European parliament – was reached during the meeting of the Conciliation Committee on 15-18 November 2019.

The main parameters of the 2020 Budget are:  the overall level of commitment appropriations for 2020 total €168 688.1 million (1.5% increase compared to 2019); the overall level of the payment appropriations total €153 566.2 million (3.4% increase compared to 2019).
