The EU General Data Protection Regulation, known as GDPR, entered into force on 25 May 2018. The new Regulation is intended to update the existing personal data protection rules and to provide individuals with more control over the collection, storage, sharing and use of their personal information.

The website of the Ministry of Finance (MoF) is publicly accessible and does not require the creation of a user profile. Personal data of the users the official website of the Ministry of Finance are not collected through it. Nevertheless, in accordance with the requirements of the GDPR, the Ministry has taken measures to ensure the security of personal data processing and in connection therewith it has updated its Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

The Ministry of Finance also uses specialised information systems that are accessible only to authorised external users. The collected personal data are only related to the purposes for which they are collected and processed and are subject to protection in accordance with the requirements of the Regulation.

With regard to the implementation of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regulation) in force since 25 May 2018, we need to apply enhanced requirements to the storage and processing of your personal data.

In this regard, if you wish to receive our press releases by e-mail, you need to send us an e-mail (Embedded Image) stating that you agree to provide us with the following personal data which we will store and process for the purpose specified:

  1. Your name and family name;
  2. Your business/private e-mail;
  3. The name of the media/organisation you represent;
  4. Phone number – optional.

If you wish to receive information from us by e-mail, you may state it by using the above manner. By analogy, those who have already subscribed to our press releases may always renounce the service by sending an e-mail.
