1876 – 1878 - studied at the Robert College in Istanbul.
1879 – 1884 – graduated in Economic and Commercial Sciences in Paris.
1884 – 1886 - teacher in Thessaloniki.
1887 – 1892 - teacher at and headmaster of the Secondary School of Commerce in Svishtov.
1893 - settled in Varna, engaged in commercial activities
1895 – 1902 - member and Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Varna. Editor of Industry magazine. Member of the People’s Liberal Party.
1903 – 1908 - Minister of Finance in the governments of General Racho Petrov, Dimitar Petkov, Dr. Dimitar Stanchov and Petar Goudev.
1907 - headed the Ministry of National Enlightenment in the governments of Dimitar Petkov and Dr. Dimitar Stanchov.
